Life Lesson

Many times when I was younger I felt I was meant to be different and like certain things and do certain things but I was so confused and in to pleasing everyone else that I forgot to be myself. This is one of the major things that has stopped me from progressing in a positive manner. Without the knowledge of who I was I drowned myself in who everyone else wanted me to be. I was everyones friend and Iwas always the giver and the reciever. I always wanted to please everyone from my family to friends to complete strangers. I never knew that being this confused when I was so young would unravel into a huge ball of failures and troubles. Thats why my lesson I am talking about today is all about Learning Who You Are. No matter what people say or do it shouldnt change how you are as a person. Thats why its so important to understand who you are so you wont act a certain way with one particular person and then a new way with another. This will eventually turn into a big ball of confusion when you cant remember who you are suppose to be like with that person. You need to spend some time really thinking about what makes you tick. Dont say your child or your family but actually what makes you..U! What are your likes or dislikes..what are some of your downfalls? what are some of your gifts..anything that describes the real you is what you need to know. Once you figure this out use them to your advantage. Build up your confidence with who you are and how you carry yourself and it wil attract a whole new group of people. People who are no good for you will fall back because they will no longer be able to use you for a doormat. You are no longer here to help others or be what they want. You can help others to become better "thems" but you cant stand back and wait for them to change. You can give them the tools but they have to use them. If they dont you have to keep it moving. Everything is about bettering yourself so you can look in the mirror say I know Who I Am and I Like What I See!
